Latvian Radio Choir. "Divina Commedia. The Way"

Everyone is familiar with the famous story of Dante and his faithful companion Virgil's journey to Paradise through the nine circles of Hell and through Purgatory. This work by the Italian master Dante Alighieri is considered an icon of Western literature and has inspired countless works of art across various genres for centuries. It combines an unprecedentedly detailed, vivid, and mythical fantasy world with transformative dialogues that have stimulated and challenged human imagination and encouraged the search for oneself, both 600 years ago and today.

In this concert performance created by the Latvian Radio Choir and legendary Latvian actor Juris Strenga, the audience will have the opportunity to glimpse into the fascinating world of The Divine Comedy through the prism of poetry and music selected by the creators of the performance.
