The Delicacies of French Chamber Music

The pianist Agnese Egliņa, oboist Egils Upatnieks and bassoonist Jānis Semjonovs are three bright Latvian musicians and their outstanding performances have been recognized more than once by the jury of the Latvian Grand Music Award. The talented contemporaries have shared the stage countless times, this time focusing their attention to France and charming the audiences with trio, duet and solo pieces. Skillful passages with translucent sonic patterns, charged harmonies, and calming lyricism. Eugène Bozza's scenic Fantasie pastorale, and Henri Dutilleux's contemplative Sarabande et Cortege for Bassoon and Piano, Francis Poulenc and Jean Françaix's impressive and dynamic trios and even Claude Debussy's dreamy Claire de lune.
