Jazz Evening with Matīss Žilinskis

Matīss Žilinskis is a musician in the fourth generation. The new concert programme Bērnības atmiņās (“Childhood Memories”) of the talented pianist, composer and arranger was created by painting boyhood, early adventures, smells and tastes, feelings, moods and impressions in sound. His twelve distinct compositions are united by their melodiousness, clear harmonic language, and the clarity and lightness of expression. And the perfect musical partners for the young musician are two experienced jazz artists – double bassist Andris Grunte and drummer Artis Orubs.
