About the musicians:
Jānis Bombizo-Fedotovs is one of the most acclaimed talents of Latvian academic music today. After graduating from the Emīls Dārziņš Music Secondary school, he is continuing his studies in the Conservatoire de Strasbourg with Professor Emmanuel Séjourné. Jānis Bombizo-Fedotovs was named the New Artist of the Year in the Latvian Grand Music Award 2014; he was a laureate of the 10th Italy Percussion Competition in Fermo, Italy in the vibraphone category (2012), as well as the winner of Ineses Galantes talanti.LV competition the music secondary school group. He has performed as a soloist in with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, the chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Rīga, the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music Student orchestra, and other collectives.

The pianist Rihards Plešanovs performs solo recitals in Switzerland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Russia etc. As a soloist, he has performed with Kremerata Baltica, Sinfonietta Rīga, the Liepāja Symphony orchestra and the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra; he has also collaborated with the Latvian Radio Choir. He is a part of the piano quartet Quadra and the Arcandela ensemble. Rihards has premiered the works of Jēkabs Jančevskis, Anitra Tumševica, Linda Leimane and other Latvian composers. He regularly scores theatre productions and cinematic works. In 2017, he was a finalist of the Jāzeps Vītols International Piano Competition; he is a laureate of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music and Swedbank Annual Award. He has won prizes in competitions in Czech Republic, Italy, France and Romania. 
Rihards Plešanovs began his musical education in the Gulbene music school under Egita Vanaga, continuing in the Cēsis Music School under Ilze Mazkalne and the Emīls Dārziņš Music Secondary School under Anita Pāže. In 2017 Rihards earned a Master’s degree from Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music where he studied under Sergejs Osokins. He has also studied in the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media with Einar Steen-Nøkleberg and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Mikhail Voskresensky. He continues to improve his professional skills in workshops with Dmitri Bashkirov, Dina Joffe, Đặng Thái Sơn, and other acclaimed pianists.
